Sequel to one of the best films of last few years

Admittedly Johnny Depp played the role well in the last movie, but if you think this worthy of the 'best films' category you should broaden your viewing. It's a film for kids really.

its not a bad watch but its nothing speical.

If anything Depp is going mainstream (POTC 1, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and POTC 2) hes not selling out etc. just making a bigger name for himself.

Hogwash... Its a family film, works for children and adults, like most disney films...

Lots of adult humour that children cannot understand, but find funny anyway... such as..

"you need to find a lady, or perhaps you have found one and are not able to woo said strumpet"

Great film but the fact he played Jack Sparrow on Kieth Richards? was abit weak, I catn watch the film without thinkit want a smacked up coke head nutter, shame.

I agree, it has been said that i am an adult and i really enjoyed the first one and saw the trailer for the second last night, i have to say its looking to be a cracking film! even my wife is looking forward to it!

Going to see this when it's released. :)
Especially as it is one of Johnny Depp's last moives for a while as he's wanting his girlfriend to further her career, apparently. :(
 
Let's not get into the argument of style over susbstance in movies for this one.

Pirates was a superb film, massively entertaining & I hope the sequel will be just as much fun. :)
