this is what i am looking at pc will be used for gaming 3d modeling and video encoding i will be getting gpu and more hard drive space at a later day this is just the base to get mu pc up and running i all ready have psu ax1200 and a 800d case just want some feed back on the parts i have picked and to take some advice form other people

It's a bit more expensive, but it's low profile [so it won't get in the way of the cooler] and can run at some nice low voltages

Personally I'd get a Gigabyte motherboard over that one, but it's a good choice and looks pretty cool too!

Another good option, and one I jstu went for is Core I7 3820 and Gigabyte UD3 X79

Will probably cost you less than 2700K and Z77 board.

It may not be to your liking, but it is worth considering at least
