Serial Number from SSD's in Raid?

Hi all, I need to get the serial numbers for two samsung SSD's I got so I can claim the Back To School cashback, only problem is I can't seem to find any info as they're in RAID..

Anyone know how to?

Disk Utility (sitting in System -> Administration) will give you the serial numbers for all your disks.

Here's what I see (look at the top-right for the serial). You'll notice that this drive is within a mdadm RAID array. Disk Utility can penetrate the array for raw disk access.

If you're using Intel Rapid Storage Technology aren't the serial numbers shown somewhere in there?

I can look for you you later when I'm at home but open up the application and have a scan through.

Also aren't the serial numbers on the boxes the drives were supplied in?

Just using standard raid, SSD with SSD not ssd with hdd!

Just threw away the packaging, they'll be printed on the drives but thought there would be a faster way to find out than unscrewing them from their caddy

Intel Rapid Storage Technology has nothing to do with SSD with HDDs, that's Intel Smart Response Technology.

If you're using an Intel System you should install the Intel Rapid Storage Technology software and then you can click on each drive in the array and you should be able to get the serial number.

Ohh my bad, do I need this Intel Rapid Storage Technology for other reasons? Seems like a total ballache to install for some reason :/
