Serial numbers

Hi all,

Its asset management time of year!
I am on a server 2003 network and was wondering if there is any free/cheap software or GP add on that can retrieve serial numbers of machines over the network.

Spiceworks I think can do this. Personally don't use it but a lot of people on here do.
