Serious Driver Problem with games

This started a while ago, but only for one game, then i installed sim city 4 a week or 2 ago and it did it with that, now i just started up Dawn of War dark crusade, which has always been fine, and its doing it with that.

Basicly the game loads up fine, but then when any form of 3d graphics come on (like the guy in the menu in dawn of war, or when you load a city in sim city), it has like minor artifacts, the screen flickers, goes on and off and when i alt tab out, theres a little ! sign in the bottom right of the screen and it says that 'nvlddmkm' display driver has stopped working or something like that.

My 8800gts is not overclocked, i have the latest drivers and im running vista 64bit.

Any suggestions?

oh god its happening in all my games now.

I take it its a driver/gpu problem?

Which version of the drivers are you using?

the very latest one.

Just a quick update, i just tried to run rivatuner, and it said i have to enable something to do with digitally signed drivers, and reboot, i did that and so far dawn of war and UT3 demo';s are now working. Hope it works for all games though.

I was getting the same error with the 169.25 betas in some games. Would installing the offical 169.25s help?

Strange I have digitally signed enforcement disabled and Rivatuner never complains. I would reboot to safe mode remove the nvidia drivers then do a search on your PC for all the instances of nvlddmkm.sys delete them all then install the latest official drivers, see how it goes then.
