SERIOUS GTX560ti PROBLEMS

THIS IS MY FRIEND, HE HAS NEVER OVERCLOCKED OR CHANGED ANYTHING ON THE CARD, ITS A GIGABYTE GTX560ti OC, I HAVE THE SAME AND I HAVE NONE OF THE SAME PROBLEMS.

He has only had the card for under a month and everything is at stock speeds 900/1800/4008. He has very good case airflow and a corsair 650w psu so nothing else could cause the problems? well its unlikely.
The problems start while he plays BFBC2 after just 5-30 minutes of play at high settings his card just basically turns off and he gets no signal shown on his monitor, seconds later the card restarts but he looses all game progress and now he just tryed to install the new 275.33 drivers and he blacks screens and has to restart.

I personally think the card does not have enough voltage for the overclock, i have exactly the same card and my default voltage is 1.037 but his is 1.0125? I also have an even more overclocked card with a 950 core 4580 memory and 1.062 voltage and i face none of these problems

Should he consider an RMA? He has also turned the OC and set to a 822 core but he still crashed on BFBC2

Personally i would RMA. The trouble is the more you fiddle with it the more problems you can cause.

When it turns off is there no blue screen at all? I did have a card where it kept turning off during heavy use but that was due to the drivers being rubbish (different card too.) But i found this out from the blue screens that showed after it crashed. I notice you said you turned the OC? Do you mean you change the overclock settings? I would be very careful with doing this as more often that not this will void your warranty.

There have been two times when my friends have had similar problems to this;

One of them, the screen went grey/black and the output to the monitor was lost completely but the computer was still running, and the only way to get it working again was a restart. We found the problem was the drivers were not installed correctly.

Second one was the card stopped working completely with no power to it and would not work again, but this was because the muppet didnt sit the graphics card on the motherboard correctly so it had a loose connection.

All it does is black screen and say no signal. By the OC i mean the card is pre overclocked at 900 core but he turned it down to NVDIAS reference specs of 822 core. Its just strange though i have the same card and the default voltage on mine is 1.037 but his is 1.012 and hes the one having problems. I also upgraded drivers with absolutely no problems but when he did it black screened its just strange
