Ok, right i'm going to try explain my problem as clearly as i can and see if anybody can please offer me the slightest insight!
Right, for some reason my pc was fine since yesterday. Today i turn it boots up fine yes? thats ok i go to load a game (world of warcraft which i was on yesterday) what happens as i load game? the computer seemed to slow down to a CRAWL i mean like.. i moved mouse it wouldnt move until couple seconds later then it would just sort of freeze perminantly, it would run ok for a bit then do that. I turn pc on and off trying to figure it out next thing i know pc wouldnt boot and i had artifacts on screen... we are talking load up screen was artifacted. Reset again this time it loads up but instantly resets for some reason.
So i decide to check ram, i switch sticks around etc same problem load up world of warcraft massive slowdown and colours going messy / artifacting. So ive removed one stick and it seems to be ok now ie pc actually boots i was able to play WoW again for a bit before same problem as before happned around 20 minutes later. So im wondering has both my sticks of ram failed? or is something else seeming like the problem here.
I had trouble a few months back with overclocked ram im using Pc5300 crucial ballistix btw. While ago had like rebooting problems etc switched ram around was ok for while didnt have much of problem i also recieved message overclock failed so been running on stock since really, but now it seems ram has completely died and is broken. I'm running e6600 too which i had overclocked to 2.8GHZ at one point but is also running stock now. Everything is pretty much default on motherboard settings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
