serious help needed with screw up!

so i've screwed up, clicked on some crap i werent supposed to, thought it was adobe flash player hd, run the application and it rebooted pc, now i constantly have a message coming up from launch bar saying stuff like "your pc is infected with spyware click here to remove" etc
also a window popping up every now and then saying windows security alert, trojan software, clikck here to download spyware removal software

any help much appreciated

any recommendations for a free scanner/fixer!?
im sure ive done this before a few yrs ago and a scanner didnt even pick it up?

DONT "click here to remove"

sounds like some scam where it looks like your pc is infected and they charge you money to remove it.... (

see if you can work out the name of the virus/trojan and then look it up on google for removal instructions as each can be slightly different.

some anti virus programmes do not catch these as you have to approve the installation when it asks you, you probablly clicked yes

Try malwarebytes (free) and kaspersky(trial version)

My Neighbor had the same problem Posted Here I ended up using Combofix and Vundofix which seems to have removed the problem(s).

I've tried the nod32 trial before on an infected pc and it worked sweet, defo worth a go.

Spybot search and destroy 1.6

and avast antivirus
http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

Run scans and fix. Both are free.
