I'm having big problems with this mobo, it will only POST if I put one stick of RAM in.
Also, even with this one stick it is blue screening sometimes and when I try to boot up again it will refuse to POST.
Does anyone know what this BIOS beep sequence means?

Long Beep -------- Short Beep - Long Beep

I get this beep sequence if I try the other stick of RAM, or if it crashes and I try to boot with the other stick.

My RAM is Corsair XMS3200XL Pro (2x 512MB), the type with the LEDs on top - however it will only boot with one stick.

Tried every available slot I presume?

So, is it booting with that one stick of ram every time? Or is it failing randomly?

Could run memtest on it, then RMA if it turns out to be faulty...Depends how old it is.

It does boot from cold with one stick every time.
A few times last night though it blue screened and wouldn't POST afterwards unless I left it turned off for 10 mins.

Would a BIOS update solve problems like this?

Possibly :) Could be a compatibility problem.

As OAP said, could be worth looking to see if the ram is actually compatible...Also check how old your bios is if you can, by going to they're site.

I would try a bios update, but it's upto you if you want to or not obviously.

But as I said, try memtest, see if that throws up anything.

Well I took the RAM stick that doesn't work down to my local PC shop, they tried it in another rig and that wouldn't post either.
I'm going to RMA the RAM with Corsair as they have a lifetime warranty.

Also I bought 2x1GB sticks of really cheap & nasty RAM from the shop and it booted up first time, am now running happily with 2GB.
