Ive had my system for a couple of months now, specs below:

Intel Core 2 Duo E2140
ASUS P5B Deluxe
Crucial Ballistix 5300 C3 Memory
ATI X1950XT

When i went to go onto my computer today, i pressed the power button, everything came on, fans, Graphics Card, PSU etc.... but no display. So i checked and double checked all of my connections to the GPU and Monitor and everything was sercurely plugged in.

So i open my case up and took the CMOS battery out and set the jumper into the reset position, left it their for 30 seconds and then put the jumper back to the standard postion and popped the CMOS battery back in. Pressed the power button again but the same thing happens, fans, Graphics Card, PSU etc.. but no display.

I take one Memory module out and leave the other in, power up and exactly the same thing happens. I try all the other 3 Memory Dimms and i also try the other Memory stick in all of the Memory Dimms but still no luck.

I now leave both Memory modules out and get 3 beeps which i should be getting with no Memory installed. (Checking if the motherboard is responding) Thats with the GPU installed.

I now disconnect the GPUs power and turn the machine on, Now the GPU fan still spins up, surely if theirs no power going into the card, theirs no way the fan should be spinning up right or not? I also get no beeps what so ever.

The last thing i try is leaving everything connected but taking the processor out. I turn the machine on and no beeps. Now im pretty certain i should be getting a few beeps with no processor installed right?

The motherboard is also getting power since their are lights on the ASUS P5B Deluxe and these are on.

I would try all the componets in another machine but im afraid i havent got a spare machine to test on.

Thanks for reading and hopefully someone can offer some assintence to me.

Thanks.
