Serious PC problems

So ive been trying a bit of light overclocking on MY CPU just by simply upping the voltage and upping the multiplier. It seemed fine on 3.8ghz but then I blue screened and PC refused to boot. I got it working by a CMOS reset and all seemed fine on fully auto settings but after about an hour my PC randomly turned off and then refused to boot with no post beep. Im now consirned i have tryed swapping memory but im sure i havnt changed the memory and i have it at 1333 speed and its rated for 1600.

My motherboard is quite old AM3 and is very cheap do you think ive broke it, i dont mind getting another but id prefer not too

hmm got it booted running memtest, im still considering getting a new mobo this one i have is so weak, im looking for a cheap one, the asrock 870 extreme3 R2 AM3+ looks good and ive heard go reports about asrock its only £65 but sadly not off overclockers (sorry if this isnt aloud) anyone have this board or know about it http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/3437/asrock_870_extreme3_amd_870_motherboard/index12.html review <----

take this oppertunity to ditch the amd and go intel

i would just change the board especially if you going to overclock it as well
