Serious Problem - Task Manager Disabled By Admin

What on earths going on, i installed DVR 2400 survallience software, and now when I try to go into task manager, apparently its been disabled by administrator, Its a home user pc and my accounts the only Admin account on the PC, infact its only account alltogether!! what on earths happened? how do I get task manager back ?

Try editing the registry from your current account, open up regedit and goto
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
Name: DisableTaskMgr
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0 = Enable TaskManager
