SERIOUS PROBLEM!!

Hey, This is my first build and surprise surprise it wont work. Here are my specs:

OCZ 600W StealthXstream
Intel E8400
2GB Patriot PC6400
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4
Nvidia Geforce 8800GTS

I tried solving this for hours and still no avail and then I noticed something strange with the motherboard and PSU. In the PSU instructions, the 2x4 12v and 2x12 main power connectors look like this:

Pin12 XOOXXOOXXOOX Pin1
Pin24 OXXOOXXOOXXO Pin13

where X= square
O = rounded
but on the motherboard its backwards with pin 1 and pin 13 starting on the left hand side and I can't fit them like this. I really don't know what to do anymore and feel like I wasted a whole grand for nothing :confused:

cheers for the reply. Erm sorry about that wasnt really thinking, been under a lotta stress lately and cant seem to think proper. Got it working.
So the damn thing boots up but it makes a loud continous beep. any suggestions?
Could it be the GFX card? I haven't plugged in (or know where to plug in) the cable from the power supply but I have connected a molex cable to the motherboard whihc is supposed to power it (me thinks)

It is very likely the graphics card. You need to plug it in. The cables will only go in one way. Fish out the proper cables, attach them to the PSU, and attach them to the card.

ok cheers guys, on the 8800GTS where do I plug it into? I cant seem to find it. Sorry for being such a noob

*EDIT* you can void the serious part of the title and treat the problem as minor now :P*EDIT*
