Serious Sam 3 BFE

Really impressed with this game so far, fast, brutal, funny and the big clincher is just look at the menu options, everything a PC gamer could want pretty much, humming along nicely at around 160fps.

With my specs in sig I had to do a big adjustment to my settings as it was like a slideshow the first time I played it. I also found I had really bad stuttering and once I used the framerate limiter in MSi Afterburner it smoothed a lot of it out :)

Phenom II x4 @ 3.4 (stock), 4gb ram, Ati 6950 2gb, playing at 1900x1200.

Haven't found anything that works to get rid of the stuttering as yet and get some really bad slowdowns.

System is detected as Ultra, but I've tried High and Medium with same results...

I think too much stress is placed on FPS. Im not saying 5 FPS is acceptable of course - but as long as you got it running smooth who cares what the FPS is.

My FSX maxed out on Eyefinity in a hi-detail area runs at 20-25FPS but you cant tell: unless I have the FPS counter showing :D

Yours is a similar spec to my old pc, i've just ordered loads of new stuff today, mine runs smooth but is very slow nowadays, hence a huge upgrade is necessary.

i.e from.... 3.2 ghz to 4.8
