Serious Sam BFE: Options screens & their GUI - wow. Why cant all games do it like this!?

Busted.

Croteam DRM for the win.

Pirate scum for the lose :)

I said id buy the game now as i actually enjoy it. far to oftern ive brought a game and its been poor. lets face it...how many of us in here have downloaded a song, streamed a film, a game.....illegally?

It would be interesting to know.

I cant for 1 second believe that everyone is squeeky clean.

Skyrims GUI for managing settings and items STILL feels like Oblivions. Man...after the slick UI of SS3:BFE Skyrims feels like it came from 1871.

And heres another brilliant part of SS3BFE (Just Cause 2 does this too) *Bethesda: LISTEN UP*: - SS3:BFE autodetects the TYPE of display and adjusts itself accordingly.

In Skyrim when I go from gaming on my living room HDTV back to PC Eyefinity the stupid game freaks out and says "display rez not available" so you have to dive into the Skyrim ini file and change the rez in there (or mess about with the "launcher").

Not so in SS3:BFE. When i play in Eyefinity - bam it works. If I change to HDTV..bam it works. No faffing about! I mean c'mon why cant simple and time-saving things like this be done by other devs!.

Yes, excellent. I have had so many issues switching my games drive from the eyefinity computer to the HDTV. Dirt 2 & 3 stick in my mind as games that refuse to load until I fiddle with ini files, and they weren't the only ones.

I always get a thrill when I install a game and it is autoset to my weird desktop resolution. Funnily enough, *most* indie games I've tried do this, and most big budget titles don't.
