ok so ive just reinstalled Serious Sam The First Encounter. When i go to update it all kinds of crap happen. Can someone please tell me HOW to update the game?? DO i need to go from the first patch onwards ect? I tried to install the recent patch from the 'update' option when double clicking on the D: drive in 'My Computer' but when i try to run the install package, it tries to install to an area labled 'forbidden' - what the hell??? ive owned this game for nearly 5 years!!!

help.

Is there a reason to update it? I played it quite recently from the disk an it works fine. Never had it crash on me, very stable game.

ive just sold serious sam 1 and 2.

wished i never sold them now as they are pretty good for a shoot em up.

Just wait for the new HD version then and buy that

Has co op as well.

WEll playing through the game at the momment and yes, its brilliant. It really is - just fantastic fun. Even the graphics when pumped up to the very maximum can look pretty in places.

And damn its hard lol

Don't think it is a "new" Serious Same. Just "old" Serious Sam but now in "new" HD.

Its the same game but with improved graphic, I want the original as it was a lot of fun.

Also playing on normal is not all this difficult even though I do remember dieing here and there.

Yep, they're also making a new one though, don't know anything about it though, might still be at an early stage.
