Serious Server problem, please help!!!!

Hi Guys,
My file server has gone down and i dont know what is wrong???

It is running windows server 2003, what happens is when i turn it on it goes through the post screen ok and brings up windows server 2003 with the progress bar, but then the screen goes blank and the machine beeps once and thats it, i cant get into anything

Almost certainly a hardware fault IMO.

Get hold of a memory testing and HD testing app, (ones that run outside an OS- i.e. are bootable) burn to a CD, and boot it.

First step for me would be to remove any storage drives and at the same time check nothing's overheating.If all fans etc are fine, run a few passes of memtest, then see what happens. Possibly also try a linux live-cd like Ubuntu to check if it's definitely hardware.
