-_- <---- And again another problem with the gigabyte g1 sniper m5. Can anyone reccomend a GOOD mATX mobo for when i phone ocuk in the morning and play holy war?

Some of you will know from my last post here with regards this board i had sound issues, the sound very randomly and rarely would go loud and very heavily distorted. I asked for help and tryed everything you could think of so sent it back and it tured out to be a faulty board. Guess what? The past two weeks its started again on a brand new board -_-
 
Your gonna have to rma it anyway,no good being lumbered with a broken board

Does it have a high end sound chip? Don't think its a realtek one

Only other matx is asus,asrock do a similar board too but no experience with those
 
Its still in the 30days with ocuk so they can just give me my money back and i'll get somthing else. Its a creative sound blaster recon3di, but when i went onto creatives site i could'nt find it anywere :\
 
Were'nt there a few dramas with that too tho? If there resolved cool, bit miffed coz im going to have to change a lot (themed build) wont be doing another one after this now
 
Idk if the issues have been fixed,but cant see why not

Could try another gigabyte and add in a soundcard if you wanted to keep current theme

Idk why they used creative,mines got standard realtek chip and its fine
 
Its ment to be a high end soulution and it sounds fantastic but to have a boards main selling point fail over and overs proper put me off gigabyte, i'll get the asus one :)
 
The new asus onboard sound is actually surprisingly good for a onboard solution, I prefer it over my old d2x.
