Hello all,
most of you know of the mods I had planned for my car for this weekend just gone.
I had to push the mods back towards the end of August as I have just had a holiday and I had to pay my folks back money I owed them.
But over the last 2 days I've been seriously contemplating cancelling my car mods.
If I think about it....
Using the car during the week is very rare,
If I use it on the weekend 70% of the time it's just for running around,
Any long trips I do are just at a steady speed on the motorway and it's quite quick at the cruising speed anyway (accleration wise)
Cost of the mods will be £1185, then when they are done I'll most likely want to do suspension and brakes so they tie in with the uprated performance.
But then, the car will probably go when I hit 20 or 21, depending on how I am at the time....
And I want to devote more funding to my photography, it's not a cheap hobby, for example, my next lens is £865.
If I used the car more then I would still go ahead with the mods, but at this moment in time, I really cannot see the point, as the car isn't even doing 500 miles a month, before I worked in London I was doing 1000+ a month, easy.
Plus, a car isn't everything, yes it is my pride and joy and I do enjoy the car a lot, but I'd rather contribute the money to photography or something faster/better.
It's a great car for what it is, a motorway cruiser, but it's not something to go blasting around the lanes in, which is exactly what I would want to do with the uprated performance.
Bah, looks like Saaby's gonna stay standard...unless I change my mind again
EDIT: Just rang Wessy and cancelled, blah.
