Server 2000 Product Keys

Hi,

I have an evaluation copy of Windows Server 2000 installed and was wondering if there is anyway to activate it with the license key i have bought without reinstalling it?

'fraid not. Not supported methods anyway.

Otacon's right. You will have to reinstall, but you can choose the upgrade method so all your settings/programs will remain intact. You have to upgrade from the full retail version, though.

Thanks Guys

The way you suggested seemed to work- I put the Setup CD in from within Windows and just upgraded it so all the settings and AD users etc were retained.
