I've got a load of websites running on a Windows 2003 Web Server. Space has run down quite considerably and files have been moved and changed right, left & centre! Resource use is also quite intensive, making the most of the 8Gb Ram! It really needs a defrag, but I'm quite wary as to whether this will cause any memory problems and potentially crash my Server? Out of 300Gb I've got 25Gb left of HD space- will the defrag operation need a load of space for temp storage when moving stuff around, or is the resource usage the main thing I should be concerned with?

On a similar note, what software is best on 2003? I tried O&O which I use on my desktop and it wouldn't install on servers apparently.

Fragmentation doesn't really affect web servers because everything gets cached into memory. Methinks the performance problem is somewhere else :)
