server 2003 noob question ? - thanks

not a server guy but can somebody help

one file server on domain xxxxxx with ip addy of xxx.xxx.x.xxx

just starting to install a new file server yesterday on server 2003

got it up and running , can see the network , can join a workgroup but when i try to select it on the main company domain, i get an error message

looked at the other file server and have all the same details

what have i forgot

different name

all i was doing was in the network change bit trying to change from a workgroup to a domain,

typed in the domain name and it gave an error message saying it could not do it ?
