I am looking for a utility that will monitor a Windows Server 2003 software RAID setup and report if there are problems (e.g. pop up a box, or preferably send an email). The only way to see the RAID status otherwise is to use the disk manager or view the event logs, neither of which are ideal.

The hardware is a Dell Precision 670 with 2x Seagate 250GB 7200.10 IDE disks in RAID1. The Dell software is only good for monitoring hardware RAID.

Anybody know of some software that will do the job?

I'm sure that you can setup alerts in performance monitor (start / run / perfmon). I don't think it can send an email, but it can send a message to someone on the network. That should do the trick.
