Hi there,
I am havingt a problem on a Windows 2008 server where I am getting Multiple taskeng.exe instances, approximately 70 instances so far. I have done some reading and it would appear that it is related to Internet Explorer and RSS feed updates.
I think I have found the solution but I am a bit wary to implement this as this server is mission critical and we cannot afford any downtime. The server is being used as a terminal server and hosts a third party app which around 7-8 users rdp to.
The fix suggests disabling the User_sync_feed in scheduled tasks for each task that is causing the problem. Just looking for a bit of advice as to whether I can safely implement the suggested fix?
