has anybody got / seen a link to the rc of sp1 for server 2008 r2

i read this week that its released today (teknet subscribers only thou)

i have installed it on one host, which runs two virtual machines, but i have another machine with duplicate services and vm machines i.e. dfs/dc/web

seams ok so far (thou only had it less than 24hrs) wanted to try hyper v over extending memory

That link is for the RC though & not the RTM i read that the RTM is released on the 16th for VL & MSDN then on the 22nd everywhere else.

I've not seen it appear on either technet or volume licensing, can any MSDN subscribers tell me if it's up there yet? I thought it was meant to be out by now

I'm pretty sure it'll go up around 9am Seattle time or there abouts like everything else usually does

Annoying but that's MS for you....

Btw just checked & i can't see it yet either....

MSDN/Technet subscribers should get the RTM around 5PM tonight.

I'm pretty sure the RC has been available for ages so it is possible the OP is confusing the rc with RTM, also why would you want the rc when RTM is due for release two days later?

Updated ISO DVDs of 2008 R2 with SP1 are now up on MSDN but I can't see SP1 just by itself.

Yup it contains x64, x86 & ia64 service packs.

Downloaded it over night on the work machine

It is but this update is also for Windows 7 which you can get 32-bit.
