Looking to build a rack mountable server ( my first one).
I was looking at the following components and just wanted your opinions and whether you thought it would be good enough for what I'm looking to get from it.

COMPONENTS
-AMD FX-6100 6 Core 3.30GHz
-X-Case 1u active cooler for AM3+
-Gigabyte GA-78LMT
-8GB DDR3 1333MHZ RAM
-1TB Seagate 7200RPN HDD
- Seasonic SS-250SU 250W PSU
-X-Case RM 100S Chasis

I will be running Windows Server 2008 R2.
Im looking to be hosting a Minecraft server (If not multiple ones), file server and a Plex movie server capable of streaming 1080p and the odd 3D movie.

EDIT sorry just realised this is in the wrong place EDIT

It is the wrong place, but here's my 2p worth:

Intel Xeon cores are the gold standard - use one
Make sure your Seagate is Enterprise not just standard desktop, and run a pair in RAID 1 (at least) to reduce risk.

Otherwise ok.

For what this guy needs the power and cost of a Xeon is an overkill.
Ditto with the ES drives, expense for a non-critical server is not needed.
