Server Build

Soon I am thinking about building a server for backups.. It will backup the work on my pc, as well as have backups of all my Films and Music.. both bluray and DVD's..

It will also be used to share Music and Films over my home network on every laptop and pc in the house, It will also share Music and Films on my both my PS3 and xbox up and down stirs.

It will most likely run Windows Server 2008 R2, and will be connected to my tv in my room by HDMI.

What do you guys think of the spec, Would you upgrade anything?
or change anything to make cheaper? What case?

Two 2TB drives reduces chance of a drive failure, that case gives you an extra 4 HDD slots if you use all 4TB, also gave you a Blu-Ray player as you never know.

I hate VAT lol but lease i get next day DPD free lol..

I don't need a PSU as I have a spare 400w one, but i like the 2TB idea.. maybe a 2tb drive and 2 1tb drives raid 0 for the important stuff.

But i like that case, Defo going in the shopping cart!

I don't get free delivery - Maybe you can donate me 220 of your posts for suggesting that case

Remember the cae is mini ITX though, so you'll need that mobo (it's the only mini ITX that OCUK do)

RAID 0 1TB drives is a good idea too - Although make sure you back them up either externally, or onto the/another internal 2TB drive

Also, the reason I specced the better GPU is because sometimes lesser cards can struggle with any post-processing duties you might want to use when watching back movies.
