Hi all,
I'm after a Server style case with space for at least 8 3.5" hard drives (preferably in hot-swap caddies) - redundant power supplies would be great, but not essential. I've used the Supermicro 745TQ-R800 before which is great, but a bit hard to get hold of.

Can anyone suggest other cases to look at? I'm looking at spending around £200-£300.

Cheers,
Matt

Actually no you can't the 810 only has a single PSU space, although it has lots of space above the motherboard there's a fan there instead. The older PSU support.

Stacker has 12 slots, but one is used for the front panel I/O switch. One 4-in-1 module is supplied with the case, use those for fixed HD drives.

you're right, my bad, i mean the stc-01

take out the front panel, use the 4 in 1 module for fixed as squiffy says, leaves you with 8 bays for your swapsies

Well, I ended ordering a Lian-Li V-2100+ in black. Room for 12 hard drives in 2 groups of six. Looks ideal - I don't really need them in caddy's. Best of all, it was only £160 ex VAT :-)

Stacker is much cheaper though! Caddies on a server come in handy.

I couldn't find any available Stacker's from my normal suppliers. For the type of server it is, having caddies just didn't end up being all that important.
