Server Colocation!

Hey all,

i have a 1u server and im looking for a company that can Co Locate it, its going to have around 5 game servers and a website on it using around 200gb monthly transfer for the website, how much transfer would i need for 5 - 16 man game servers?

also any recommendations for companys i cant seem to find anything on the net

Game Server Bandwidth Question

Hey all,

im looking to setup a game server and co-locate it and im wondering how much bandwidth would 3 x 16 man servers for games such as DOD:Source / Battlefield take up per month?? cheers

Bandwidth limitations won't really be an issue. Most co-location packages should come with plenty enough for gaming, just make sure you're on a 100mbit connection.

Have a look at www.ochostreview.co.uk for some recommendations on hosting companies. Not all of them provide co-location services though.

Which ever way you look at it co-lo'ing is gonna be well expensive. You're probably best just leasing a dedi box.
