Server Cooler

Ive cobbled together a basic network media server/download box out of some bit’s I had knocking round.

It’s a 1.2 athlon, 512ddr with 120gb and 80gb HDD’s. And it all working great and doing its job

Thing is the CPU cooler is WELL LOUD!!! It’s in my room and it being a download box its on overnight and it drives me mental.

So can anyone recommend a quiet cooler for a socket A chip.

BTW im not gona be doing anything silly like playing games or overclocking it

for a 1.2?
just about ANY skt A cooler would work,
I have a Akasa AK-827 Ultra Quiet Copper Base CPU Cooler (Socket A) (HS-013-AK) on a 2100, a Arctic Cooling Copper Silent 2L CPU Cooler (Socket A) (HS-011-AR) on a 2000, fitted a ThermalRight SI-97 (Socket A) Heatsink (HS-019-TR) on a 3200 a bit ago, and a Volcano 7 on a 800 duron,

all work well, the SI-97 being the best, but all will cool your req well enough,

the Akasa and the Arctic are both quite quiet

I had an Actic Cooling copper Silent 2L and it was silent on low speed mode. Should be just about okay for a 1.2.
