i bought a 100tick css server and have been getting constant drops in tickrate. i have contacted the owner via steam and this is what he has said sorry that its long but i dont know what wlse i can do as i am outraged this this service he has provided.

i want to know how i can get my money back, he has provided me a service that i am not satisfied with, he guaranteed me a 100 tick server and has failed.
 
I've looked at the Swift website - broken links, typos, no business address and oh wait the following line

You wouldn't buy a car from a dodgy looking bloke why would you buy from a dodgy looking website which has no substantial business information?

I think you'll find you're on your own with this one, by all means raise a dispute with paypal but i think at best you'll just be ending your contract.
 
You won't get your money back. Where's the contracts with SLAs? When did you sign up for the service? When did you raise the issue with the guy/company? Are you tied into a yearly contract or can you just stop paying now?

The most you can hope for is not to lose any more cash.

Although it's pretty funny that they're trying to run anything on old P4 Xeons.

you say that, but I remember walking into a maidenhead DC not so long ago and seeing a rack marked up tigit. It had SFF PC's stacked on top of each other in it...

The 'company' will be some kid who just rents a dedicated server(s) and just sells off game servers via paypal.
