I am running Windows Server 2012 R2 in Hyper-V on my Windows 8 machine, and I was wondering if there was any way I can give an internet connection to the clients without having to add another NIC to them, or if I can add another NIC to just the server and have the internet pass through the server to the clients.

Thanks in advance :)

if you only have 1 nic then by default the nic is shared when you select it during the Hyper-v installation. as long as you set the clients to use this virtual network as external they well be able to access the internet.

Best practice however is to always have the Hyper-v host on a separate nic fro the clients. you can then however have many clients use the 2nd nic.
