Server not seen by 1 PC out of 5 W7

I have 5 PC's at home all running Win7.

I also have an HP Proliant Microserver.

4 PC's see the microserver absolutely fine under networks in explorer, but one does not see it at all. The PC can ping it fine and also find the IP no problem at all, but it will not show in explorer.

If I disconnect any other computer or NAS it detects and sees them straight away.

Any ideas at all please?

Is the server set to a limited number of clients as the only explanation I can think of if you got 4 working and 5th not, unplugging any one of the 4 allows the 5th to work. then the server is limiting to 4 client connections.??

Definitely not that I am afraid.

having tried for a few hours now to sort this, it seems that it is definitely a problem with this W7 PC:

1. I can see all the other PC's on the network except the server.
2. I can ping the server from the PC no problem.
3. I cannot access any of the other PC's on the network though, I get the "WINDOWS CANNOT ACCESS \\NAMEOFPC" with an error code of 0x80070035.
4. Disabling FIREWALL etc. or starting in safe mode etc. still won't give me access.

Haven't deleted anything anywhere, changed any settings or messed with the registry!
