server psu in desktop system

IM 99% sure it will be fine but need a paranoia check! Lol, im waiting on delivery of a good psu but wish to setup the computer over the weekend, to be fair its a asus p8b-x server board and xeon processor but i wanna use a 600watt delta 1u psu temporally, all the plugs fit, will it work without blowing things up?

You'll be fine but it's not as quiet as a jet engine .... it'll sound like 2

It will work but guessing it will be quite loud. I'm guessing server components aren't really designed to be quiet just to perform well as servers would be tucked away behind closed doors or be in another room. That PSU looks quite large so I'm guessing the fans will be running quite fast to cool everything inside and have sufficient cool air flowing through.

Oh it's not permanent just so I can install windows, software etc and get pc ready for when my zalmen silent 1000w gets here
