I have 2 pcs at home side by side. One is an old banger that I use as a mini file server for the net and IRC and the other is a brand new gaming PC.
What I'd like to do is effectively set the old one up as a server where all I need to do is control it from the new machine but effectively seeing a desktop when I access the old PC. This would mean I wouldn't have to have the old PC setup with a monitor. They're setup on a LAN and can already share files. One PC runs Vista, the other is XP home.
I'd like to know what software you'd suggest to be able to do this?
