I have server 2003, and it had one of my clients domains on it when their server got nicked, just so they could use webmail and wernt completly knackered.

They now have a new server, and are working lovely.

Ive removed all the recipient policies, users, everything i can see relating to their domain but every time i send an email i get "the recipient cannot be reached" but if i send one out of my btinternet account it works fine.

HELLPPPPPP its driving me round the bend :(

Sounds like it might be a problem with the DNS MX record.

Can you explain in a bit more detail, where are you sending the email from and to?

mx is fine, I've spent most of the day on this and have managed to resolve the problem.

Turns out i hadent purged the mailboxes, all the policys wer ecorrect, connectors correct, users deleted, mailboxes disconnected. But because i hadent purged them, the system still thought they existed ....

How very very very annoying :(
