Service or cost to scan/print a custom pump/fan mounting bracket.

Hi,

Not sure if someone can provide some advice if this is the right place on where and what it might cost to make a custom mounting bracket for an EOL EK dual D5 csq pump top.

Essentially I stopped using this at some point as it was designed to be mounted in a 5.25" bay - rather than being attached to a fan like many modern pump top/kits - hence large/weird size.

If it I could find a way to attach it directly to a fan on a radiator this would be ideal given it's not as wide/tall - essentially I would like to replace the bottom half of the image - i.e. the metal (steel?) mounting bracket - with (1 or 2 piece) bracket as illustrated badly in purple so I could attach it to a 120/140mm fan that is already attached to a radiator.

I'm guessing I might have to send the original mount so it could be properly scanned? Does anyone have any input or if this is viable for 3d printing given the weight/vibrations?

Hey, so I'm not sure what the dimensions from that model are are or if it would align with the holes on the original mounting 5.25 bracket. However the main thing was I was actually trying to avoid adding "height" as this fan is mounted sideways not facing upwards as in the picture and try to actually replace the original bracket rather than add something to mount it on.

Looking at the original top to bracket it actually is spaced as if it could mount onto a 140mm fan directly as the holes align with orange lines:

So I actually saw a "xspc aluminium radiator mounting bracket set" which looks like this:

So I was thinking I could use 4 orange "struts" as shown here it might support the weight. Alternatively I could flip it upside down and have the fan attached to the other side of the top using purple dimension struts.

I'm not really clear how brittle 3d printed material is or how thin it could be thin is compared to something like steel or aluminium?
