Service plans are they worth it?

Hi

Asking for someone else, are service plans worth it on new cars? , in this case a Hyundai (hybrid), they come with 5 years warranty I believe. If they plan to service it at Hyundai for the time being, I presume a plan is the best?

Im also thinking it's best to service it at Hyundai while in the 5 year warranty.

It's simple maths.

How much is the service plan?

How much would it cost you to pay for servicing yourself over 5 years, allowing for inflation?

Is the plan cheaper? Get the plan. Is the plan not cheaper? Don't get the plan.

Yeah, not got prices yet, Im pretty sure it will work out cheaper, and its best to get serviced at Hyundai while in the 5 year warranty.
