Do you (Overclockers.co.uk) offer any kind of tuning service for PC's? I have a PC for gaming and would like an Expert (or someone more qualified than me at least) to take a look at it and tune an tweak things like BIOS, Airflow, Cable management and maybe a little overclocking. Do you offer a service such as this? i would have course be willing to pay. I ask as i feel i have a good little computer but it needs to be configured properly for gaming which is something i don't know a great deal about.

Thanks.

If you're not into learning/tinkering yourself then here's my advice:

Airflow: exhaust the hot air and bring in cool air.
Cable management: tie cables out the way.
Overclocking: leave it.

I would like to learn more but honestly I'm scared to death i will kill my PC which is why i asked if there was some kind of expert service.

I'm currently trying work out good airflow for my PC as i have been having a Graphics card issue of late.

I don't know anything about overclocking so would not attempt to even try it.

I have been looking at updating my BIOS but i keep running into conflicting opinions and just get confused and leave it.. my Bios says it is from 2011 does that sound OK or way out of date ?

If your new to all this then with the BIOS but the most simplest thing to do is this.

If it works, leave it.

I woukd only update the BIOS if, your processor is not supported, you are having boot or BIOS issues, or theres a feature in an update that you want. Apart from that, its not worth any hassle.

I haven't updated Bios since i got the computer and I'm not confident enough to overclock my CPU or Graphics card yet at least not until i have sorted out the issues i am having lately . Do you know of a place that would offer such service for a reasonable fee?

The views i have gotten from others is that 50 percent say update your bios its way out of date then the others say don't touch it if it works ... very confusing for a noob like me lol

I haven't changed anything so far, all as it was the day i got it but reading some threads here kinda makes me want to try the overclocking an stuff but i fear i will break things.
