Set a 'Primary' when multiple contacts have the same number?

I have linked together all my Facebook, LinkedIn etc contacts in Sense on my phone, but all my work collegues have the same office number on their profiled. Now, when the office rings my mobile it comes up as a member of staff, not as the original exiting 'Office' Google contact.

Is there any way to identify numbers in your contacts that are used multiple times, and choose a 'primary' for it? If I dial the number into the phone it only shows the original Office Google contact.

Any chance it's the first alphabetical name? On call-receive the radio is telling the OS the number is XXX and it usually just type matches the rest through the contacts list. I'm not in a position where I can test this but it's the common method on Android for simul number clash iirc.

Yeah, it probubly is showing the first in the list it gets to with that number, but I cant seem to get a list up of all the contacts with that number to check.

EDIT: yes I can. Our office has 2 numbers and I have been looking for the other one. Using the right number in the Phone Dialer, it shows all the contacts with that number. However, the one that shows on screen when I dial in is about half way down the list (name starts J). :confused:

Crap then it's first in database rather than first in alpha-numeric and I am out of ideas sorry.

I really liked the linking contacts feature. Unfortunately this means I am going to have to turn the LinkedIn one off.

This is really bugging me now. I have turned off the LinkedIn contact synching, and they no longer show in People, but when you dial the number they still show against all the contacts, and when the number phones me it still shows as the random guy half way down the list!

Grrr.
