'Set and forget' home router.

Hey guys,

My Dad's once reliable netgear dg834g has started to get a bit wobbly in recent months, random adsl/wifi drops etc., and I want to get him some new kit

Nothing flashy, he never has anymore than 2 devices connected at a time and it must have wifi. I've been looking at the kit from tp-link; it would do everything he needed it to do and its very reasonably priced. Its pointless spending out on some all-singing, all-dancing router with features that will never get used, I just want something simple and reliable.

Any suggestions?

i like the cisco exxxx range
e1000 would probably do him but check the feature sets.

Wouldn't that be a cable router as opposed to a adsl one?

Yea it is. Pretty good to. I have it, and apart from the annoying CISCO Connect software but once into the web interface its not too bad.

I wouldn't touch Cisco consumer kit after the latest firmware fiasco.
