Hi
Any kind soul out there willing to check\walkthrough set up of system.

I have the oc's 'argon' i3 550 gigabyte system 4Gb ram. arctic freezer cooler
3.20GHz @4.0GHz.
Asus Xonar DX. Seagate Barracuda HDD. Windows 7.

It's built and up and running, had a couple of auto-restarts, where there was a brief message about overclocking....though it was too quick to take in.

Thanks in advance

Hi Ginger
Ok, I have an Msi 460GTX 1Gb, Pioneer DVD\RW and Enermax 400ATW Liberty.
I know the power could be higher, that's my next upgrade, though it runs 2x 12v rails (360w-30A).
The most stress it gets is 3\4 hrs gameplay.

When I set up, all was well, after installing software (windows, antivirus, internet etc.) after a re install, my mouse was sluggish,I found a rouge driver, (sound card) thought I'd delt with it, had a crash hr or so later and got a red warning about overclocking, that the system was running hobbled.
I went to bios, poked around, found the oc,s cmos? setting and installed it,saved, rebooted.
That sounded a lot easier to do than it was, (ok, for a noob in there)
I was hoping to go through the settings page by page to make sure I did'nt disturb anything I shouldnt.
E.g after I entered bios, there were some red type sections one regarding the cpu at a 100% setting max......this was at 101%.?
thanks

it does sound li9ke the power supply, not sure what the 'red warning' was, if you loaded the ocuk overclock setting the settings will be ok, but if you power supply isnt powerful enough you will have some problems. dont suppose you have a friend/family that could lend you a higher power supply to test?

Not so lucky ,wth the power supply loan.

I'm looking at the oc's 650w modular job at mo. what do you think? £50ish http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-046-OC
Do you think the plugs into the power unit will be the same as the enermax ?
Save having to re-do all that lovely tidy cable (took ages)

Ran f.e.a.r. game at full everything for 3 hrs no probs.....infact I could'nt keep up:D.
Had two install probs audio....resolved
tune up pack......uninstalled
