Interesting, I thought the FSB had become obsolete since the introduction of the first i series chips and replaced with QPI?
Saying that its been a while since I've looked at such things, sorry as you were....

I have never heard of QPI haha.
It was FSB on all of the chips I have overclocked recently

(i3 530, i5 2500K, 2x i5 3570K's and 2x 955 Black Editions)

Though with the newer Intel chips, it is usually not necessary to touch the FSB speed unless you want to scrape every last hertz out of the CPU.
I cannot remember how I overclocked the 955 BE's.
*edit* after looking it up, it seems that QPI is what it is called on Xeon, Itanium, and 'some desktop' chips. So perhaps it is called QPI on socket 1366? I'm not sure, I have never dabbled with 1366 chips

If that is the case, it may well be called QPI on socket 2011 as well, but either way, it is essentially the same thing, but with a few tweaks and a fancy new name
