Good news Team ~ I'm going to build a SETI Dish to receive signals from ET ~ How difficult can it be ?

Any help appreciated :)

I've got the plans from http://www.setileague.org/hardware/blkdiag.htm

What do you think ?

Note *Got the idea after seeing James Brown (California USA) one man team on SETI net with Facebook and Twitter links... He is listening into signals from the WOW ! area of space as I type...

Could be a nice project for me or someone in the UK... Are there any others in the UK anyway ? I think OverclockersUK Team should have one at least :)

It would be a good exercise either in theory or practice... to see how it all works !? Good Fun :D

:)

Yes its really nice idea... not that I know about Electronics... But the diagram looks so simple, The Seti League set up Project Argus which were going to build 5,000 of these !

Link them all up together and WOW !... But now is only James Brown with his one man set up, I've sent him a letter of support :)

If I get some cheap parts I'll join him... and double the output ! I would just enjoy the search (Just has you would enjoy looking at stars with a Telescope ;)

But an Overclocker or Team Overclockers... with experience, could set up a UK station, maybe help with donated parts... James was given an off the shelve Television receiver dish and it looks great ~ Either way happy dreaming and Happy Seti listening Mr James Brown :)

I think it would be interesting... like watching the sky with a Telescope... but instead listening to all the signals coming from outer space and possible get lucky & get a WOW !

But has you say it might not be too easy... But tech people might want a go ?
