Thanks for the lovely news Mr TTB:)

guess what, I spotted some more tiffys

I should also point out that you awarded Mr Grimgoth his 16 million tiffy, but he already had 16,121,163 listed as his total in last weeks news so I cry foul.
Sorry can't help it!

Thanks for that Mr kolala sah much appreciated hope your having a good weekend.
Aye he did actually but getting a mention 2 weeks on the trot might speed up the recovery process.

Thanks for the news Tbag :)

I should have a week at full pelt this week bar the low clock speed of the CPU gotta catch someone up :D

Hey thats good to hear you'll be back at it, i was wondering wether you would take the kolala treatment and upcoming k3v frenzy lying down :)

I got new machine built but what a nightmare its taken me since yesterday ttime to get it stable (stupid cables) so i should climb again in a few days.
2nd rig was a complete no go board was d.o.a so that'll have to wait for a replacement.
Am going to have to rake some cash in for a fresh gpu injection ..... i just took alook at Mr BaBa 's rigs :eek::eek: He thinks i can't see him creeping up behind  :)

ive just caved in and set mine to run 2 tasks per gpu

"Am going to have to rake some cash in for a fresh gpu injection ..... i just took alook at Mr BaBa 's rigs He thinks i can't see him creeping up behind " have you seen in the news that the price of electric is going up ;)

Blimey i allways try 2 tasks per gpu even Mr Edge does 3 tasks per 470 still going to be a little gold mine that card :)

"electricity prices going up" pah if we worried about everything we wouldn't even get out of bed on a morning :D Have a good weekend k3v

Ooooooerrrrrrr is that the distant sound of bells i hear? No i believe its Mr Marine cranking up the volume oh dear wonder what he is working on ;):)

Nice tiffy Mr eggcup sah well done, liking the sig too! :D

Well done to Mr Marine who's now back up and running along with Mr Berserker sah i think you both deserve a mention in dispatches wot wot!! :D:D

 A most excellent tiffy and no mistake congratulations Mr BaBa sah :D

"mumble mumble its going to take 590's to hold him off grumble moan whinge" :)

Wondered how long it would be before a decent single slot card came out, enter the kfa gtx460 single slot ...... and no i aint going to do egg n chips for another 3 months to shove 8 of em in my set up :D

2688 cuda cores mmmmm

Excellent tiffy Mr pnutty sah very well done!!

"The dead hard drive didn't hold me up for long but I've a sneaky feeling Grimgoth has upped the ante and increased his output..... now how can I respond, can I even respond"

Sure you can ... my guess is your sat staring at some shiny shiny right now:D

Trying desperately not to slack but 1 mobo on rma and waiting for 2nd replacement on another.
On the plus side i have figured out how to alleviate the boredom at 4am .... craft knives and fablon :)

Finally i have at least 1 working machine :)

Morning Mr Marine all systems go at IguanaTowers thats good to see i am getting there slowly, should give Mr Reaver a chance to stomp me :)

I think something is up with my setup, I'm down to my last couple of tasks, I did a manual update and it didn't request anymore work, its odd how its worked fine for ages until around the time I updated the client.

Heck am not sure what to suggest k3v except maybe backup your boinc folder and do a fresh install with the new optimised apps?
Good luck sah :)

Come n get it - while it's hot :D

http://lunatics.kwsn.net/

Running single GPU Client @ 96% (560 ti OC @ 1000mhz) - significant improvement over 0.37 app.

5 min wu's now completing in 3 mins........

In fact it's so good I just purchased shiney item (only B Grade) to take advantage of it - might see if I can get back in the Top Ten for a bit.

Many thanks for that Mr Loudbob sah, hope all is well with you :)

Ill re-install it tonight with the new optimised apps. What do i need to back up and if i dont, what happens? Do i just loos a certain amount of credit?

tia

Hi k3v
Exit Boinc app then go to c drive program data and copy the boinc folder somewhere safe. If the program data folder is not showing on c you will have to enable "show hidden files and folders" in the organiser tab top left.
Once you have reinstalled boinc and teh new optimised app(unins the last inst) and it asks to restart at the point where it asks you to connect and join a project what not exit the app and then copy your backed up boinc folder to c program data after deleting the newly installed boinc folder. :)
