More hiccups with seti this week than a baby with colic While production is down we are still on course for the top ten and if we can persuade a few big hitters to return from the "dark side" we will be top ten all the quicker!

I errrr .... once the competition is sorted i reluctantly have to take an indefinate leave of absence, i did not take the decision lightly but a combination of events earlier in the year have left me in bits so to speak so a clean break for a while is needed

Thank you for the news I'm back on seti (when work comes through) so hopefully should see a bit more of a boost in the coming weeks as the credit comes through.

How the hell are people getting units? I've not been able to upload or download for over a week. I'm actually surprised my total for this last week isn't zero.

OT, I managed to get an invite for the new LHC client, but can't get it to work.

Afternoon Mr Meridian sah, it seemed like the last few days the problem was with the uploads if they were stuck it stopped the download of new work even though there was plenty available, so i copied my data folder and stuck it away for safe keeping reinstalled and connected anew and got plenty of new work. Now it seems as though its back to normal i brought my copied data folder out of hiding and uploaded fine, complicated but it seemed to do the trick

Thanks chaps well you deserve an explanation so try this one for size, was not even sure it was legal but apparently it is so there's no get out clause...

Friend passed away last March willed me some personal pensions, which are accrueing in the solicitors account.
Because the deceaseds primary debt is his remaining mortgage then the house has to be sold and that primary debt has to be settled before the estate can be distributed - ya with me so far
That was all fine by me i know these things take time until HMRC decided that because the pensions were willed to me i have to pay the tax on them, fare enough i thought once i am in receipt of them i.e. in my bank then yeah sounds about right.
My problem is that i have to pay the monthly tax on that income now - even though i am not in direct receipt of that income its all a bit crazy if you ask me and the +£700 a month is killing me.
Have tried negotiating with HMRC but no dice, things will be fine in the long run but paying tax on something i dont actually have yet irks me to bits
So thats it purely financial really. The competition dosh and all that pillava is fine all put to one side, have even considered impaling myself on the spikes of the unemployment queue for a few months like to see HMRC get paid then at least i could manage a bit better
