Changes since last release (v0.38) are:

-Update of all CPU applications from AKv8b to AKv8b2
-Update of MB CUDA from x38g_cuda32 to x41g_cuda32
-Update of ATI OpenCL MB applications from r177 to r390

what is the point in this seti? i cant see any info on the site, any help would be appreaciated.

It's a good bit faster. The installer is easy to use too - just run and choose SSSE3 (probably).
