Which makes it sound like they were back up again, but according to my machine there have been no units available since then... do I have to change some settings in BOINC or something now they have the new server, or is this "latest news" now out of date again?

That is just the standard weekly message, they haven't been properly following that schedule for a while now.

There are some resends etc going out now and again. Mr Eggcup reported getting some yesterday and I've had a few today.

You shouldn't need to change anything, just be lucky.
