Hmmm past two days now I have been unable to get anymore work for the BIONIC Manager from the SETI people

Just says "error no network available to process"

Nothings wrong my side as im on the internet *waves*
Is there server down?

Patience you need, for you are not a Jedi yet!

Yep, their servers have been up and down like a lady of negotiable virtue's underwear lately :(

They have been letting me download in the last hour or so though.

the best thing to do is too change this setting in the preferences

"Computer is connected to the Internet about every "

stick that up to the max (10 days i think)

and you will stash lots of work units to keep you crunching when the servers have gone down

Strange... in my preferences there is no option for that

Its an online preference.

go to the "your account" page on the SETI website. there is a link from the Projects tab in BOINC manager.

about half way down is a "general preferences"

You could do this but 'stashing' is pretty poor DC etiquette and generally frowned upon.
It's far better to sign up to a secondary project to tide you over while the SETI boys rearrange their broomcupboard again.

I'd recommend Rosetta as there is always work and the WU's are fairly short so you can revert back to SETI fairly swiftly when the B0rkley servers are back up.
www.boincstats.com has a complete list of BOINC projects for you to choose from.

No kiddin'

But I'm within 250 of the magic number now, once it clicks over I'll switch my Core Duo not-on for a bit :p

Just long enough to put a quad core and some more ram in it :D
