setpoint causing pc to restart

Hi,
after hrs of investigation i found out that it was setpoint (logitech software and drivers for my cordless mouse + keyboard) which was making my pc restart after i told it to shut down.
even if i close the program before i tell windows to shut down the pc still restarts.
has anyone else had this problem with setpoint? ive got the lastest drivers from the site.

what do u use instead?
do all the hot keys work?
i have a left and right scroll on my mouse and it doesnt work as back and forward buttons unless the software is installed :s
